Arnar Bjarnason Phd.
Arnar Bjarnason will manage financial tasks based on his 25 years experience in investment, corporate finance and also extensive experience in banking operations. Arnar is also the managing director of Reykjavik-capital ehf.
Arnar graduated with a doctorate (Ph.D.)1994. Arnar’s doctoral thesis dealt with the export behavior and internationalization of Icelandic fisheries companies “Export or Die. He has for 25 years worked as an investor, as a manager at Icelands largest banks. Arnar currently works as Managing Director of Reykavík Capital ehf.
Arnar has served on the boards of numerous companies, such as: Landsvirkjun, ALCAN in Iceland, ICEMART, Ingvar Helgason hf., Netbankinn hf., Frjalsa Investment Bank hf., BYR Savings Bank and Bær hf. who owns and operates Hotel Klaustur.
Arnar has published several articles in recognized academic journals and in papers.

He holds an P.hD. in Industrial Engineering from DTU Danish Technical University. GMP from Harvard Business
Sveinn is a leading scientist with a seat on many boards such as the Science and Technology Council, the SCAR European Commission. He is a board member that is working on vision and analyzing European bioeconomy and the utilization of catch in Iceland. Sveinn is a member and in steering committee on ethical matters in scientific work in Iceland.
Sveinn has led many projects and worked on many boards on science and technology and written many articles and published in recognized academic journals.
